Iowa Trust has announced an important leadership transition as part of its long-term strategic plan. After more than 41 years of dedicated service, including the last 22 years as Chief Executive Officer, Kris Ausborn will retire as CEO.
Throughout his tenure, Ausborn’s leadership has helped build a strong foundation for Iowa Trust and the communities it serves. He has played a key role in the bank’s growth, culture, and enduring commitment to customer and community success.
The bank has named Scott Menke, current Chief Credit Officer, as the next Chief Executive Officer, effective April 21, 2026.
“Kris has been an incredible leader and mentor, and I am deeply grateful for the guidance and vision he has provided over the years,” said Menke. “I am honored to step into this role and continue building on the strong legacy he leaves behind. Iowa Trust is well-positioned for the future, and I look forward to leading our talented team as we continue to serve our customers with excellence.”
