Kris Ausborn Honored with the Robert D. Dixon Founders Award

Iowa Trust is proud to share that our Chief Executive Officer, Kris Ausborn, received the Robert D. Dixon Founders Award at the Community Bankers of Iowa (CBI) Annual Convention. Established in 2003, this prestigious award recognizes a community banker who embodies a lifelong commitment to independent community banking in Iowa.

This award recognizes leaders who demonstrate:

  • Active involvement with the Community Bankers of Iowa and the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA)
  • Proven leadership within the banking industry and broader community

Kris has been with Iowa Trust since 1985 and was named president and CEO in 2004. He has made a tremendous impact on our culture, success, and growth. Kris has been an advocate for community banking and holds leadership roles within CBI, ICBA, and at the local level. During his 40 years at Iowa Trust, he has managed a $550m organization and has launched initiatives that have deepened our service offerings and local impact.
