Matt Jenkins, Senior Vice President, Treasury Management, graduated on August 7 from the Graduate School of Banking at University of Wisconsin - Madison as a member of its 80th session.

The Graduate School of Banking has been an industry leader in providing advanced management education for financial professionals since 1945. Throughout the 25-month program, GSB utilizes a “learn and apply” approach to learning with special emphasis on the immediate application of concepts presented and tools acquired.

Some of the program’s goals include:

  • Building strategic thinking skills to manage in a competitive environment.
  • Understanding how regulatory and economic changes affect banking strategies and policies.
  • Challenging traditional banking practices and developing new skills and creative approaches to solve problems, make decisions, and lead change.

Additionally, GSB graduates are also awarded a Certificate of Executive Leadership from the Wisconsin School of Business. This distinguished credential reflects the highest level of executive education offered by one of the nation’s premier business schools and underscores the program’s strong emphasis on advanced leadership development.

“Every concept we studied, I viewed through the lens of how it could benefit our customers and our community,” said Jenkins. “GSB gave me the opportunity to deepen my passion for this industry and reaffirm why the work we do matters so much to the people we serve.”

Congratulations to Matt and the entire 2025 graduating class. Iowa Trust is proud to see our team grow professionally and continue making a difference in our communities.
